When they arrived at Rougeport, they met up with the Mario twin. "Hello," he said. "In order for us to fuse, we need the powers of the so-called Star Spirits. They were captured and turned into crystal stars. We need to find them and turn them back into Star Spirits. I bought a box from an old merchant containing this map. It should lead us. We need to hold it up at the thousand year door to reveal the first Star Spirit."

So off they went back towards the Mushroom Kingdom. They started walking to the right when they saw strangely-colored Toads blocking Pleasant Path. "You can't go there... again, it's too dangerous... again," said the Toads, "And don't go asking old-man Merlin for help because..." "Yeah, yeah, yeah," said Mario 1, "Me and my companions already know you're the Koopa Bros. in cheap disgiuses. Just flee back to your fortress so we can follow you and kick your butts, again!" "Okay!" And off those goons went. All of then soon came to the Koopa Bros. Fortress. In there, they all beat the Goombas, Paragoombas, Koopatroopas, Parakoopatroopas, and Bob-ombs with ease. After fighting their way to the top, they found the Bros. armed with Bullet Bill Blasters, which were easily defeated. "It's easy getting around when you know what to expect," said Mario 1. But when they made it to the next room, he was wrong. There stood each of the Koopa Bros. oviously fused with Hooktail. Each of the 4 of them were all Hooktail-sized and could blow fire! That's when Mario 2 said, "You stand corrected, past-me." RAAAAAAAAAARR!

yelled the Hooktail sisters. "It's like fighting 4 Hooktails, wait a minute... it is fighting 4 Hooktails!!!" said Goombario. But they still never gave up. Both Marios and set of companions worked on their own Hooktail sister untill... finally, all where down. They became one Hooktail again. She then spit up a crystal star! The Marios hit it with their hammers to reveal, The star-spirit, Eldstar! "Good job boys! I will give each of you... no wait, I already gave you my powers, oh well. Hahaha! When you free the 6 others, meet us at Shooting Star Summit so you two can fuse together! You must go to the Thousand Year Door! See you!" And back to the door they went, and soon unveiled the next location of the crystal star/ star spirit. It was in... Boggly Woods. "Boggly Woods?" said Mario 1 "Been there done that," said Mario 2 "Let's go then, future-me!

All 17 of them started off towards the entrance to Boggly Woods when Mario 2 remembered that the other Mario could not fit through the steel bars because he couldn't turn sideways. "We should turn the other way because my friend Mario can't fit through bars." so then they went to the secret warp pipe and down it. "It's also a shortcut from those stupid monsters back there!" "What a huge tree!" said Mario and his companions. "Welcome back to the Great Tree, Mario and........ Mario!" said Punio, "Is there somthing wrong?" Punio did not notice that a giant machine was right behind him! It gobbled him up in 1 bite! "C'mere you!" said Mario 2, chasing the robot. The robot was yet an even more improved "Magnus Von Grapple"! The other Mario and all the companions went darting after the robot too. But then, the robot punched a huge hole in the floor from wall to wall! Everybody fell in, except the robot, of course. Then they scrambled back up, floor by floor, defeating X-nauts and saving punies! This happened untill they finally reached the robot. The combination this time around is Tutankoopa fused with Lord Crump. "How do you like my Magnus Von Grapple 3.0?!?! Pretty awsome huh?!?! I added a chomp for a mouth to shut Tutankoopa up! DIE!" They were all fighting well, untill the robot sucked the party members up and spit them and the other punies out at the Marios. They caught everyone in a bag and freed them. Then they started beating up the robot harder untill, finally, it fell apart, and the fused boss was exploded into dust!

That's when they found and cracked open, a crystal star! Inside, they found the star spirit, Mamar! "Thank you for yet again saving me, both of you! Wish you luck on your quest to find the 5 others! First, you should visit the door. Bye!" she flew off, and the others turned towards the door............. And the next location was revealed! "Forever Forest?" said Mario 2, "Guess it's up to you to lead the way, Mario."

Back to the mushroom kingdom they returned, now with 2 star spirits! Soon, they found themselves in the Forever Forest looking for the 3rd star spirit. But, a few steps later, they were swarmed by piranah plants! Each of them and their party members were split up into 2 groups. Then 3 groups... Then 4... Then 5... and finally 6 groups! Luckily, each group had at least 1 person from the original Paper Mario who remembered the way. When they reached the end, they all literally "bumped" into each other! They reached the gate to Gusty Gulch. When they arrived, all the boos living there cheered. "You have come back, Mario and lady Bow!" said one of them, "Tubba-jerk is eating all the boos! Help!" "We'll do what we can," said Bow. When they reached Tubba's castle, they saw hover guards all over the place, but instead of disappearing, they just decided to beat them up; the old-fashioned way of dealing with enemies! When they made it to the third floor, Tubba was patroling the hall. They decided to charge him as well, but it failed. "FOOLS!!!" he yelled. He slamed the whole 3rd floor into the 2nd one like a they were a bunch of building blocks! He did the same with the 2nd floor to the 1st floor. Down they went! "What's this?" said the Mario twin as he picked up a shiny thing from the floor. Then the other Mario said, "That is the key to the windmill, he must be hiding something there! Let's-a-go!"

Off to Twilight Town they went! Their arrival triggered "a series of unfortunate events." The townsfolk rioted the Mario clan! "You jerk!" they bellowed. "We thought you were good, but now you are terrorizing... everything!" That's when Mario 2 said, "Hmmm. must be the work of Doopliss." The original Mario responded to this statement rather quickly, "Doop-what? You're kidding me! You are kidd-ing me! Doopliss. Out of all the names!" "No!!!" came a voice from nowhere. The fake Mario jumped in front of the Marios. He was forced by the spell to show his true identity. "Wha- Wha- WHAT!!! stammered the crowd of townsfolk. Doopliss said, "You're not getting away with this!" 7 seconds later... "Oww! You beat me up too hard! You killjoys!" Doopliss ran back to his hideout. It didn't end there, though, for Doopliss still had the crystal star. So Mario and company darted after him. When they reached his hideout, they snuck up behind him and pulled his sheet off to reveal, the Shyguy General! "Great job, fools, for it was me all along! We aren't fused! I was in that ichy, sweaty costume all the time! I knew, that if I had kept my identity (Shyguy General) the same after THIS MARIO over here beat me, I would be another laughing stock so then I..." "Okay, stupid miget, we didn't come here for a lecture!" complained the Mario twins. They beat the living daylight out of the General in 3 seconds flat! He then exploded into.......... THE FOURTH CRYSTAL STAR! THIS ONLY LEAVES 3 MORE! THAT'S LESS THAN HALF! Together, they freed the star spirit, Muskular! "Thank you, dudes! Whoa, you already have more than half of us! See yas at the summit!" He flew off while the two of them went back to (you know what!) "Hmm... the next location is Lavalava island! I will direct you all." said Mario. And thus, begins the 5th chapter!

So the original Mario went to the port in Toad Town and asked the whale for a ride. "Sure! Hang on!" Everything went well untill blue embers attacked the whale! "AHHHHHHH!" went everybody, "SPIRITS!" They all jumped into the ocean while the whale hid beneath the surface! That's when Bobbery said, "Wait, this already happened to us before, we're smarter than this! Splash em'!" Everybody found a way to douse the embers! When they were all put out, the whale came back up and everyone hopped back on. In about 2 hours, they finally reached the south part of Lavalava, Yoshi Village.

"You have come back just in time! The island is in mayhem! The volcano is endlessly erupting, and the citizens are being scared out of their wits! Please do something!" Yoshter said, "We'll try..." They dashed to the volcano. The Yoshis were right! The volcano was spewing lava everywhere! The Marios said, "Oh, we were's FLUDD when you need him!" "So!" said Sushie, "You still have me!" "SO? Your Point is?" "Nevermind. Just shutup and watch me as I stop the volcano!" He put it out! "There. It will only hold out for about 15 minutes... Let's go!" They went in and made their way down to the Lava Piranah's lair. When they got there, they found the fused version, Piranah Skeleton! It had a Carlos body and a Piranah Plant head! They beat him with 11 minutes remaining. But, he turned into another form which they beat in 5 minutes. Then yet another form that took them another 5 minutes to defeat. "Harharhar!" he boomed, "I was just pullin' your legs. I'll return the crystal star and stop scaring them big-nose villagers!" He escorted them to outside the volcano and gave them... THE 5TH CRYSTAL STAR! The Marios opened the star and unveiled, Misstar, the 5th star spirit! "Way to go Marios! Now you only have 2 more to go!" So Marios and friends headed back to the Door (Yes, you know which one!) to reveal the next crystal star! In, Poshley Heights. "Oh, jease, yet another crazy place I have no clue about. Well, guess you're the host, Mario future guy." said Mario 1. And so, a new chapter begins...

When the Marios got to the train that leads to Poshley Heights, Mario 1 said, "Wow... no wonder why they call it the Poshley Express! How did you get the tickets?" Mario 2 winked to his friends, turned to Mario 1, and said, "An old friend." His party members knew he was talking about Don Pianta, the ex-boss of the Pianta Parlor. When they got inside the warm atmosphere of the train, they were greeted by the passengers. The train conductor assigned Mario 1 room 5, and Mario 2 room 6. The rooms were connected by a new door. Everything was better since the last time they went. At 5 o'clock they went into the dining car to eat dinner. After that, they went back into their rooms.

to find the passengers captured by the fused boss, Smorg PUFF. Mario 1 yelled, "ATTACK!" They attacked each tentacle untill they fell off. The Marios took a fell swoop at the main body and split it up into 10 tuff puffs which Lakilester destroyed with his spiny surge move. They repeated this untill he was finally destroyed! The last smorg revealed........... THE 6TH CRYSTAL STAR! Once again, they freed the 6th star spirit, Klevar! "Thank you for rescuing me! You should head back to the door to see where to go next!" So then they did...

The Marios went to the pipes that lead to the palace. When they arrived at the Shiver City, they walked the path to Shiver Summit. But soon they heard an annoying, yet familiar voice. It was Jr. Troopa! "Haha! We meet again, Mario! And you brought a friend! Hah....heh? WHAT!!! ANOTHER MARIO! I'm DOOMED.................... NOT! Shadow Dorks Assemble!!! Beldom, Marylin, and Doopliss emerged out of hiding and yelled, "Shadow Dorks? WHY YOU LITTLE..." "Shut up, you smithering idiots!" replied Jr. Troopa. "Why WE OUTTA..." went on Beldam, "ATTACK!!!" And with that, Jr. Troopa and the Shadow Sirens beat each other up. "Ouch..." said Vivian. The two Marios proceeded leaving the goons to bruise each other. It was a long way to the top. They met alot of Dupli-ghosts on the way. They even met Doopliss again! Finally, they reached the palace. It was really cleverly-designed with the 2 sides and the traps. Since there was two sides, they decided to split up and meet again at the end. It was much faster that way. The clubbas didn't even make work out of it. It was hardly any work at all! That is, untill they reached the top. They solved the puzzle and met the 7th fused boss. Or Bosses. They weren't quite fused yet... instead, they were fighting each other! The Crystal King won the little battle and turned on them. He then Hijacked the newest X-naut battle robot, Magnus Von Grapple 4.0. Marios and friends made short work of this robot. But Crystal King survived... so they started using fire-attacks and strong-attacks untill finally, he fell! AND THE FINAL CRYSTAL STAR WAS OBTAINED! The Marios broke it open to reveal... OF COURSE, KALMAR, THE LAST STAR SPIRIT! "Great job, Marios! You can go to the Thousand Year Door where we'll be waiting for you to get there so we can break the Door's seal!" The Marios started their way back to the door to begin the FINAL CHAPTER!!!

Marios and company entered the Thousand-Year Door! The suspense is rising! Can you handle it? Huh?!?! ^o^ Alright, enough stallin' around! They first travled down the loooooooong staircase that was suspended over a chasm of water. They were fine until they got to a puzzle. "Huh?" Questioned the 1st Mario (you know, Paper Mario 1.) "You have to follow a code," said Paper Mario 2 "You have to hit the switches until the stars match the picture in the previous room." They did so, and the path opened, to the even loooooooooonger staircase that led into the chapel-like place, (you know what I mean.) When they opened the door to the chapel, they found that bowser had Grodus's helmet thing on! They all tag-teamed until Bowrodus or Growser became invincible by creating a barrier field. Then, the Marios knew what they had to do, fuse together. The Marios fused to form......... MARIO X! (I got copyrights on this name, okay!) Mario X pummeled Bowser/Grodus in a matter of minutes while his friends head-butted, shell tossed, body-slammed, rammed, ground-pounded, smacked, burned, electrocuted, spiny tossed, and blew up on them! (Whew!) With the power of the star spirits, Bowser/Grodus was knocked out, cold! MARIO DID IT! HE DEFEATED BOWSER/GRODUS AND SAVED THE EARTH! Yup!

Mario was cheerfully eating his koopasta at the table one cloudy friday night. Luigi was sitting across from him eating koopasta as well. Yoshi was in the garage, eating the garbage, again... "Yoshi!" Mario scolded, "This is the 456,798,098th time!" Luigi then shouted, "Mario, there's a ghost on the roof!" It was Doopliss! He was hammering away at the roof with a mallet! Mario got a latter and got onto the roof. "Doopliss..." Mario said quietly. "Yeah!?!?" Mario then said, "Would you be so kind as to, TELL ME WHAT THE HECK YOU ARE DOING!!!!!!!!" This remark made Doopliss tumble off the roof and onto the grass. Doopliss pulled out his freeze-gun and threatened, "Don't you move one more step, slick. I'll turn you into a popsicle!" Luigi, being 1.5 times taller than Doopliss simply picked him up and threw him into a trash can. (The next part is from a classic arcade game, Mario Bros.)

Doopliss jumped out of the trash can with a starman and yelled, "Haha! You know that in Mario Bros. you get an item if you escape the trash can in multiplayer-mode!" Doopliss became invincible and chased Mario. The effect of the starman soon wore off and had Mario chasing him instead! (Like PACMAN!^v^) Yoshi and Luigi joined in the chase. It continued until... "Uncle!" said Doopliss "Uncle? I'm not your uncle!" said Mario in an astonished tone. "No! I mean I give up!" "Alright, just don't plan on anything stupid again." said a forgiving Mario. After this, Doopliss became an actor! Wow...
